TELEVISION
The Television program provides students with hands-on experience and a strong foundation upon which they can build their artistic talent. The four-camera configuration allows students to produce a variety of projects including infomercials, live music video, talk shows, and magazine shows in the style of “60 Minutes” and “20/20”. By experiencing a variety of crew positions, students can find where their talent lies.
Students also have opportunities to work on professional, paid projects assigned to the Cinema-Television-Radio Department. Graduates of the Television program at Saddleback College have been successful all over the country, working for ESPN, Fox Sports West, Disney, KOCE, KABC, Cox Communications and TV stations in Oakland, Phoenix, and Minneapolis to name a few.
